For over three decades, Maurer Sanfield India Limited (MSIL) has been at the forefront of structural innovation, delivering high-performance post-tensioned slab systems that redefine modern building construction. Leveraging our deep expertise and advanced engineering solutions, we empower designers, builders, and owners to construct more durable, functional, and sustainable structures.
Maurer Sanfield post-tensioning systems can be used in the construction of the floor slabs / Beams for a wide range of building types:
These systems are particularly beneficial for large-span designs and vertical structures, where design flexibility, cost-efficiency, and structural integrity are paramount.

The anchorage assembly is comprised of a bearing plate (trumplate), a thrust block, and a set of wedges. The cast-iron bearing plate is integrally cast within the concrete matrix, serving to disperse the prestress force into the structural element. The thrust block bears against the trumplate, while the wedges mechanically engage and secure the prestressing tendons.
The 1S13/15 single-strand system is typically employed for unbonded post-tensioning tendons. Its composition includes: (1) a pre-greased and sheathed strand, positioned within the slab formwork prior to concrete placement; (2) a cast-iron anchorage assembly equipped with steel wedges, which is embedded in the concrete to secure the strand and transfer the prestress load to the structure; (3) a plastic conduit providing localized protection to the strand where the sheathing is removed within the anchorage zone; and (4) a grease-filled protective cap designed for long-term corrosion prevention at the anchorage.
